Lifelong Friends is a series of mixed-media oil paintings that spread across the studio walls to form a large-scale painting. The walls act as a large canvas, a notebook, or a library. Each oil painting is paired with ceramics, textiles, objects, clay pieces, or ornamentation in various mediums or scales. These added-on pieces are sitting on top of the paintings or hung next to another. Pairing up these works together is like forming companionships, friendships, or a family.
